Looking for something to do this weekend? It is the final weekend for "Hunchback of Notre Dame" at the college's Kelsey Theatre. (This performance is not suitable for children.)

West Windsor, N.J. โ€“ Itโ€™s 1482 Paris and life is dark and difficult. The Center for Continuing Studies very own Roseann Cooper played a very important part in coordinating Mercer's Chapter of American Association for Women in Community College's Day of Service. The Day of Service had members of the AAWCC, professors, staff and students assembling care bags to go to the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Princeton.

Members of Mercer Chapter's American Association for Women in Community Colleges, faculty, staff and students convened in the cafeteria on Oct. 20 to assemble hundreds of "Chemo Care" bags. Those who took the time to donate the items for the bags enabled care bags to go to 324 individuals fighting breast cancer. The bags were delivered to Breast Cancer Resource Center of Princeton, located within the Princeton YWCA. Those with cancer do not need to be members of the YWCA in order to benefit from BCRC's programs and resources.

It is with great sadness that we share this update.

Mercer County Community College today issued the following statement:

It is with great sadness that today we learned from law enforcement authorities of the death of MCCC student Nick Pratico. Our condolences go out to the Pratico family and the many, many friends that mourn the passing of this talented, bright young man. To assist MCCC students, faculty, and staff during this difficult time, the MCCC Counseling Services Office will provide grief counseling beginning today in the Student Center, Room 239

Let this be a time that we come together not just as a college community, but as part of the greater Mercer County community, as we lend our sympathy, encouragement, and support to those hit hardest by this sad and tragic event.
