Thank you to Linda Kalin, RN, BS, CSPI, Executive Director of the Iowa Poison Control Center, for speaking at the April 2, 2026, Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences Grand Rounds.

The session, "From Call to Care: A Case-Based Journey Through the Poison Center Lens," focused on identifying and prioritizing key clinical details in poison cases and using that information to recognize common toxidrome patterns. Ms. Kalin also reviewed how to select appropriate management strategies based on those findings.
