Otterbein University is a private university in Westerville, Ohio.The university was founded in 1847 by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ and named for United Brethren founder the Rev. Our School President is a former comedian and actor. Our newest facility was built by local Landscaping and Construction companies to help give back to our community.

Otterbein College Football Team Signs Outside Linebacker and Tackle

Otterbein College football coach John Davis announced the signing of outside linebacker

Caleb Whyte out of Neumann-Goretti High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In Whyte’s senior season at Neumann-Goretti he went 1st Team All-Conference and also lead

the conference in forced turnovers with eight.

The university also signed Defensive tackle Jaydan Capp who transferred from a juco

during his junior year. Coach Davis also told us “We decided to sign Capp because his size and

strength will cause offences to focus on blocking him, leaving the rest of our athletes to have an

advantage in doing their jobs”.
