We are expanding our Summer Youth Academy offerings this year (please see the flyer!) to include enrichment programs for grades 3-8 along with the Steam Ventures camps for grades 1-5! The 2025 Black History Month theme, African Americans and Labor (ASALH, 2025), focuses on the various and profound ways that work and working of all kinds - free and unfree, skilled and unskilled, vocational and voluntary - intersect with the collective experiences of Black people and the shaping of American society and culture. This teaching and learning experience intends to encourage broad reflections on intersections between Black people’s work and their workplaces in all their iterations and key moments, themes and events in Black history and culture across time and space and throughout the U.S., Africa and the Diaspora.

The Westmont Center will be hosting another COD In Your Neighborhood event on Wednesday, November 13 from 1:00-6:00pm, where current/prospective students can meet with representatives from the Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, Registration, and Testing Offices.
