Happy Waste Awareness Week Everyone!

Waste Awareness Week is a week long sustainability event hosted by Renewable Energy Association at UCLA to tackle the impact of waste on the environment.

Our team of student organizations had an exciting schedule of workshops, panels, art exhibitions, movie screenings, and more. Sadly we’ll have to table most of these activities until next year.

Do you care about the earth? Do you have 2 minutes to tell us why? ESN is making a video compilation of students talking about what the environment and sustainability mean to us and we’d love to have as many students participate as possible. Here’s how:

Record yourself answering the following prompts, please state your answers as full sentences including the prompt

1. "I love the Earth because..."
2. "I practice sustainability by..."
3. "A green Earth means..."
4. "My favorite activity to do outside is..."

Please make your videos in landscape orientation/hold your phone sideways so it looks uniform when we edit them together!

Hello friends! The deadline to apply for our mentorship program is this Thursday at 11:59pm. Mentorship is a great way to make friends, get/give advice, and become more involved with ESN! We encourage 3rd years and above to sign up to be mentors and first and second years to sign up to be mentees. All majors and years are welcome and we'd love for you (yes, you) to apply!
