WCJC TRiO SSS The WCJC TRiO SSS Success Center is located in the library at the Wharton Campus. As a team, the staff will ensure academic success.

TRiO SSS offers a relaxed and informal environment equipped with all of the technology and resources students need to be successful. The TRiO SSS staff work as a family of advisors, guides, helpers, and friends to each student. The staff strives to expand the horizons of students academically, socially, and culturally. Students that need academic advising will have access to a dedicated team of ad

The National TRIO Alumni Association was established to reconnect and engage TRIO alumni across the country while continuing the mission of educational opportunity, leadership, advocacy, and service. Membership is completely FREE and open to all former TRIO participants, including alumni from:

There is something truly magical about Commencement Day. There is a nervous energy in the air, but there is also an immense amount of pride that is just radiating from everyone. Every year is filled with its own ups and downs for our students. For some, the path to graduation is straightforward. For others, life happens, and there might be a few bumps in the road. Either way, TRiO is there for it all. We may only get them for a little while, but we do what we can to ensure that our impact on their life and their time at WCJC is powerful and positive. We are their cheerleaders, we are their go-to on campus, and we are their shoulder to cry on if that is what they happen to need from us.

They are a testament to what TRiO stands for.

They are the proof that TRiO does work.

Seeing them walk across that stage is and will forever be our why.

This afternoon Wharton County Junior College will proudly honor our Allied Health Graduates at the Gene Bahnsen Gymnasium. Doors will open at 1 p.m. and close 15 minutes prior to the ceremony starting at 2 p.m. For those unable to attend, the ceremony will be live streamed on YouTube.
