We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for the beautiful journey of self healing and introspection with MK Yang and AANAPISI. MK Yang, a visionary artist, holistic healer, and a founder of Behind Your Shadow, LLC, led us through a sacred process of sewing beads onto a pouch with the phrase “still writing my story”. her powerful guidance helped us connect with our inner wisdom, honor our strengths, and embrace our vulnerabilities.

Thank you, MK, for sharing your incredible gifts and inspiring us to continue writing our stories with courage, love and authenticity. Your work ignites, a global movement of healing and empowerment, and we’re so honored to have been a part of this transformative experience!🫶☺️

Come and join us for our Asian New Year hosted by the Asian Student Association and AANAPISI, happening this Thursday, November 21st, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Lincoln Mall on East Campus.

This year's theme is Passing on Traditions to Strive Forwards. Keynote speaker, Hey Billy, Hmong-American Shaman and an expert in Hmong Culture and Spirituality will be sharing more about how they strive forward through traditions.

Join us to celebrate all the different Asian backgrounds, traditions and heritages. The evening will be filled with cultural performances, delicious food, and activities celebrating all the many cultural traditions of the Asian New Year. This is a great opportunity to connect with others, learn about different cultures, and have fun!
