Leadership in action at SCC! Congratulations to Colene Faulk, Dean of Student Services, and Jason Strickland, Chief Information Officer, on completing the Spring 2026 cohort of the North Carolina Community College Leadership Program through the Belk Center for Community College Leadership. 🧡🐏

Through this statewide program, Colene and Jason gained new perspectives on leadership, collaboration, strategic planning, budgeting and student success. Their experience is already making an impact at SCC, from strengthening campus partnerships to building more effective teams.

SCC’s nationally accredited phlebotomy program helps students build a strong foundation in venipuncture, capillary puncture, specimen handling and patient care. It is also a great stepping stone for students interested in nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology and other healthcare pathways. 💉🌟

🎓 PACE Camp: June 23
For rising seniors preparing for college. Students will get help with admissions, financial aid, and other college entrance steps.

🩺 Camp Cardiac Care: July 13 - July 16
For students interested in healthcare careers, with hands-on learning in nursing, medical lab technology, phlebotomy, nurse aide, EMT, CPR, and first aid.
