The first-ever Reverse Raffle at the recent Rams Rock the Yacht was a huge success!! 🎉

It all came down to five final ticket holders who made an incredible decision—they split the $5,000 prize AND chose to share it with the SCC Foundation! Their generosity meant they each left with $500, while $2,500 went right back to support the Foundation. 💙

Pictured here are our final five:
Brad Johnson, Cheri Phillips-Barkley, Stephanie Miller representing Columbus Regional Healthcare System. (not pictured areCol. Steven Bryan and Amanda Sasser)

A heartfelt thank you to these amazing supporters for making our first Reverse Raffle such a memorable and impactful success!

September is Passport Awareness Month.
Let SCC Foundation help you with your Passport.

Are you gearing up to take a vacation abroad? If you have never traveled outside of the United States, or if it has been a while since your last trip, you may not be aware of changes to the passport application process or requirements.

September is Passport Awareness month, when the U.S. Department of State encourages travelers to check their passport’s expiration date and increase their understanding of passport validity requirements.
Check your passport expiration dates as soon as you start planning a trip, and remember passports issued to children under age 16 are valid for only five years. If you need a new passport, apply early to allow for delays.

Southeastern Community College Foundation office is an official Passport Acceptance Facility, and can accept DS-11 passport applications for anyone
• applying for their first U.S. passport
• under age 16
• whose previous U.S. passport was a) issued under age 16; b) issued more than 15 years ago; c) lost, stolen, or damaged.

The Foundation also takes passport photos for $15 per photo! Foundation passport services, including passport photos, are available by appointment only by calling 910-788-6260
Additional Tips
• Beware of scam websites offering passport services. You should never pay to print a copy of a passport application. Applications are available on the U.S. Department of State website or you can pick one up at SCC for free.
