PreCollege is celebrating the KC Scholars! 🤩

Congratulations to the 2025-2026 KC Scholars! It was a year filled with connecting, community, and scholarly activity. The year culminated with the KC Research Symposium where students presented their research spanning majors and career interests from across the University. It is one of my favorite things to watch as these scholars arrive in the fall, not quite sure if they will have someone to sit with at dinner, and then by spring, they tell you they are family and they are presenting conference ready research.

We also want to congratulate the KC Scholars who will graduate this weekend! Your journeys have been inspirational; your degrees hard earned. You put in the time, you stayed connected, and you saw so many possibilities before you. We wish you the best and want you to remember you belong in every room you step into, that your voice carries weight, and that the community you built here goes with you wherever you land next.

A special thank you to faculty and staff that support KC scholars throughout the year, including Chancellor King, Provost Fox, Vice Provost Plessel, Dr. Robinson (Library), Dr. Bostic (McNair), Dr. Frye (Undergraduate Research), Coach Wi***er (Basketball), Instructor Binagi (Research Methods), and Craig Schreiner (Campus Photographer & Writer).
