UWW TOMS Campus Club

UWW TOMS Campus Club Official page for UW-Whitewater's TOMS Campus Club! Join the movement. This is the official page for TOMS Campus Club at UW-Whitewater.

The club officially started for the 2011-2012 school year and was a huge success! We're hoping for another amazing year at UW-Whitewater. Why join TOMS Campus Club? Be a part of this group of excited UW-Whitewater students working together to share the TOMS story and the One for One movement. TOMS Campus Club will host several events throughout the year that will raise awareness at the university

and in the Whitewater community about the impact a pair of shoes has on a child's life! The TOMS shoe company name came from the phrase "Shoes for Tomorrow," created by Blake Mycoskie in 2006. Blake was inspired by a trip to Argentina where he saw extreme poverty and health conditions and children without shoes. Ever since, Blake's mission was to match every pair of TOMS purchased with a new pair for a child in need. One for One. Recently, TOMS has launched a line of eyewear. The TOMS team wanted to expand their One for One movement further because sight is a fundamental need, and being able to give sight has a dramatic impact on a person's life.
