We would like to thank our guest speakers Kelly Jackson and Brienne Brown for their important and impactful contributions to yesterday's MMIW Day event. Kelly shared her personal experiences with violence against Indigenous women in her community, and Brienne provided her legislative knowledge. On May 5th, join NACAA and College Democrats in acknowledging Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women's Day. We will have two guest speakers: Music artist and Indigenous activist Kelly Jackson, as well as Wisconsin State Assemblywoman Brienne Brown. This event is intended to educate and raise awareness surrounding MMIW Day, and everyone is welcome to attend!

NACAA had an incredible time attending the Indian Community School of Franklin, Wisconsin's annual Bear Moon Pow Wow. Join us for a trip to the Bear Moon Powwow in Franklin, Wisconsin! ✨
To RSVP, all attendees are asked to pay $5 to reserve their spot. This helps us plan transportation and includes a piece of frybread for lunch. Please note that all payments are nonrefundable.
We will depart from Whitewater at 10:15 AM on April 4 and return the same day at 4 PM. Pick-up and drop-off will be outside Hyland Hall.
