Welcome back Warhawks! The Undergraduate Research Program is currently accepting applications for the Research Apprenticeship Program (RAP). We are looking for both student researchers and faculty/staff mentors.
The Research Apprenticeship Program (RAP) provides eligible students with an hourly paid research opportunity (work study can apply) to assist faculty/staff mentors with their research projects for up to 125 hours in one academic year. This program is meant to expose students to research through a mentored apprenticeship in the first or second year of their academic degree.
Applications for students and mentors are due no later then Sunday September 14, and can be found on our webpage: https://www.uww.edu/urp/rap -student-application--academic-year-2025-2026

It's the final day of the University's 1868 Minutes to Give Campaign.

Gifts to the Undergraduate Research Program will directly fuel more student research, creative, and scholarly projects and provide critical funding for supplies to conduct research, travel to conferences, etc. These opportunities allow students to complete their projects, present their work, connect with professionals, and launch their future careers.

Another friendly reminder as we get closer to this event...The Undergraduate Research Program in conjunction with UWW's Department of Geography, Geology, and Environmental Science are proud to announce a guest speaker event on the evening of October 30, 2024. Tyler Brasington, a 2017 UWW alumnus, will give a talk titled "The Science of Grizzly Bears: My journey from undergraduate research to grizzly bear conservation in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE)". Please join us at 7 pm on the evening of October 30 in Summers Auditorium for this talk.
