Aurora Barassi is currently studying abroad this spring in Barcelona, Spain. She is studying at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, through one of our provider programs, . Aurora & her roommate, also from UWW, are enjoying exploring this beautiful city!

Where are our Warhawks?

Jovana is a UWW Alumni who volunteered with the Peace Corps (www.peacecorps.gov) in 2019/20 in Mozambique and has since returned. “This photo was taken this past December on my last day in Mozambique. I was in Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique. This very nice lady was making Begias, which are made from beans, fried and are extremely delicious. It is a common street food found in Mozambique and finding these fresh Begias absolutely made my day!” Jovana also traveled on several different travel study courses with UWW, pursuing her degree in Sociology, including to Spain, Germany, England, France, Jamaica, and The Netherlands.

She will be one of the featured speakers at UWW Black Alumni and Abroad on Tuesday March 8th 4:30-6:30pm in the UC, room 275. Check it out!

Tanner Sebastian is currently studying abroad this winter in London, England. He is studying at the AIFS Global Education Center, through one of our provider programs, AIFS Study Abroad . While it’s chilly there currently, I’d take that view any day!!
