Tonight's RU Purple Event Has Been Cancelled.

Due to weather conditions and to ensure the safety of our students, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight's RU Purple event. While we are sad not to host this event this year, your safety is always our top priority, and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming campus events!

Happening in the Williams Center:
• Home volleyball game at 7pm
• Open Rec until 11 pm
• This is great time to come and get your gym membership!

Happening in the University Center from 7:00-9:00 pm:
• Games, billiards, and bowling in Warhawk Alley
• Brewers/Cubs game streaming in the Hamilton Room
• Board games
• UC Live movie in Summers Auditorium
• Karaoke in the Down Under

Hello Warhawks! We had a great second day at Warhawk Welcome! So many students making connections and engaging with each other throughout the day in Peer Mentor groups, at presentations, at our Learning Community Welcome Event, as well as campus partners at Hawk Fest. We are excited to kick off day three with Painting the Road and RU Purple tomorrow!

If you did not get check-in yet, come to the end of Warhawk Drive and look for the purple flags to get check-in from 8:30-10:00 am.

🌧️ Despite the rain, there was no shortage of energy on campus today! It was great to see so many students and families braving the weather, checking in for Warhawk Welcome, and bringing such excitement as we kick off Welcome Weekend. We’re so glad to have our newest Warhawks on campus! 🤍💜

Students still need to check-in for Warhawk Welcome? Come to the University Center tomorrow, Aug. 31st from 8:30 am-10:00 am for late check-in.

12:00-1:00 pm: Last names R-Z
1:00-2:00 pm: Commuter Students
