It is with great delight and excitement that I announce that today President Carey approved today as a Walkout Day! Congratulations and thank you to the following conference champion teams: 2016 Women’s Softball team, the 2016 Men & Women’s Outdoor Track Teams, the 2016 Women’s Cross Country Team, and the 2016 Men’s Soccer Team, for qualifying the rest of the student body for this day of festivities. Please note lunch will be served at 1:00 pm. I hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy yourselves immensely!

Had a great time opening the sand volleyball courts to the student body yesterday! What a beautiful day for Lunch on the Lawn!

Yesterday, students enjoyed the annual Lunch on the Lawn during Reading Day. Students were able to take a break from studying by playing on inflatables, challenging each other with some lawn games, listening to the sounds of jazz, eating lunch, and breaking in the new sand volleyball courts.

The senior officers of the 2015-2016 Executive Council presented the class gift at the Student Awards Ceremony today! We had great ideas from the student body on what to contribute to - the creation of sand volleyball courts! Coming soon next to Green Hall... :-)

The outgoing members of the Student Government Association present President Dr. Amy Bragg Carey with this year’s class gift of funding for a sand volleyball court for students to enjoy.

The last General Assembly of the semester is on Tuesday @ 9:30 a.m. in MFT 102. Grab some Panera, and we'll approve the Fall 2016 Budget and announce the 2016 Class Gift! See you then!

Check out the amazing things that are happening at Friends! We have a great school!

Friends University is installing a 29-panel, 9.5 kilowatt solar-power array at the entrance to the Edmund Stanley Library that will provide electricity to run lights, computers and other equipment inside.

Director, senator, and chair applications are due TODAY at 5 p.m. in Casado 001! Elections for these positions will be held March 28-30, Monday through Wednesday next week. Look for tables around campus and for a SurveyMonkey online voting link on this page!
