Ever wonder what our are up to over the summer semester? Brett, MS student in the Luhring lab, spent his summer with KDWP looking for the Eastern Newt using minnow and “trashcan” traps to passively collect a variety of taxa, such as snakes, frogs, and fish. They also actively trapped using dip nets. Very cool, Brett!
