Are you needing CEU's in 2026? The Beta chapter of Delta Kappa provides free continuing education each month through the Delta Kappa Noontime Forum. These offerings are the 2nd Wednesday of the month (with only 1 or 2 exceptions per year due to academic activities) from 12-1pm. These offerings are in person only in the MFT building, Classroom 102.

This Thursday is Dr. Dan Lord's reception for his Lifetime Achievement Award! It would mean the world to us and to Dan if all MSFT grads - and any area clinicians who know him! - would join us to celebrate him.

It is our honor to announce that Dr. Dan Lord, Professor Emeritus, is the 2025 recipient of the AAMFT Lifetime Achievement Award! This is an incredible honor acknowledging his decades of hard work, extraordinary efforts, and outstanding leadership in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the field of systemic family therapy.

Without his determination, there would be thousands fewer mental health providers in Kansas and beyond. His impact is undeniable, with the Wichita program providing 15,000+ hours of free and reduced mental health services throughout the state every single year starting more than 35 years ago. None of this would have been possible without Dr. Lord's vision for COAMFTE accreditation and state licensure, along with the support of Friends University!

PLEASE make plans to join us for an in-person reception celebrating this achievement.
