A defining moment in Haylee Thurman's career journey came during her junior year, when she was offered a full-time leadership position at Automation Research Center (ARC). “Being recognized as a valuable contributor and future leader in the organization was incredibly validating,” she said.

A senior in the applied engineering program with an emphasis in management, Shocker Haylee Thurman is scheduled to graduate this fall. She has a dynamic and impactful applied learning experience as the Automation Technical Lead at the National Institute for Aviation Research, Wichita State University (NIAR) Automation Research Center (ARC).
