Attention all:

In a few weeks it will be Halloween and that will be Eastern’s Homecoming week. This is a very lively week with many exciting things going on.
Each day of the week different clubs will participate to win Eastern’s Spirit Stick. This is an aggressive competition. Monday thru Friday at 4:00pm come to the clock tower to watch our clubs participate in our Min It To Win It games.

Monday, October 29th we will start off with the exciting mentalist, award winning entertainer Craig Kargas. Craig combines the art of magic with the science of psychology and the power of intuition to create the impression that nothing is impossible. Tables float, minds are read, metal bends and your imagination challenged because you won’t believe your eyes! (to get a sneak preview on Craig Karges go to: www.craigkarges.com) This show is free, bring your friends and family and be amazed!

Tuesday, October 30th the Mr. Eastern contest, hosted by the Psych & Social Science club, will take place. This is one of the more popular events on campus during homecoming week and we anticipate the program this year will be as enjoyable as it was last year.

Wednesday, October 31st will be Eastern’s community carnival from 4:30pm – 7:00pm. This is open to the community and attendance for this event ranges around 1500. Different clubs and organizations will have tables set up and there will be plenty of games, food and crafts for all to enjoy. There will be a “Boo Parade” for the little ghosts and goblins to enter and win prizes for best costume. Eastern’s “Trunk or Treat” will be located on the East side of the Student Center. Clubs and organizations will all participate in decorating their car or truck and will hand out candy to trick or treaters.

Saturday, November 3rd at 11:00am come support and cheer on Eastern Oklahoma State College royalty, club floats, alumni and much more at our Eastern homecoming parade, which begins at the east end of town. At noon, our Aggie Club will help with our Homecoming picnic serving hamburgers and hotdogs at the pavilion. At 3:00pm our Lady Mountaineers and at 5:00pm our Mountaineers will play against Rhema Bible College. Homecoming coronation will be between the games at 4:30pm to crown our homecoming king and queen and to announce our spirit stick winner.

All are welcome to enjoy all entertainment throughout the week. Bring your family and friends and enjoy some fun.
