EOSC Meat Judging

EOSC Meat Judging The official page of the Eastern Oklahoma State College Meat Judging Team. Home to 8 National Champion titles. Scholarships and room waivers are available.

Contact coach, Jade Edwards, for more info at [email protected]. The MPFS program is a unique program to Eastern Oklahoma State College (EOSC). EOSC is the only two year college in the state that has a fully operational state inspected meat processing facility on-site. This provides students hands on experience in the areas of live animal harvest, fabrication of raw product, specialty meats, and

further processed meat items. Individuals completing this degree program have started their own processing facility, managed within an existing processing facility, started a career in food safety, and have worked for wholesale distributors. The area of quality assurance and food safety is rapidly growing. Individuals interested should contact the Agriculture Department at EOSC.

MJT 2025 members Averie Bain and Gracie Ward were named EOSC Agriculture Division Cream of the Crop students. Congratulations!

🎉🎓Congratulations to this year’s “Cream of the Crop” of our agricultural graduates! 🎓🎉

Each year, the Agriculture Division recognizes the top three graduating sophomore agriculture students. This is the most prestigious award that we call “The Cream of the Crop.”

When choosing the recipients for this award, the agriculture faculty evaluate students’ academic achievements, leadership roles and campus involvement, as well as outside awards and achievements.

While we are so proud of all of our graduates, and there are many that are deserving of this award, these three rose to the top.

Averie Bain from Valliant, OK
Maggie Rempe from Shiner, TX
Gracie Ward from Indianola, OK

Congratulations to our 2026 “Cream of the Crop” Agriculture Graduates!

We hope to see some EOSC Meat Judging alumni there!
