Pi Beta Phi at the College of William & Mary

Pi Beta Phi at the College of William & Mary The VA Gamma Chapter of Pi Beta Phi was founded at William and Mary in 1925. We are now a group of over 100 women proud to wear the wine and silver blue!

Pi Phi offers many opportunities for growth and leadership during her years as a collegian. The friendships she makes will last her lifetime; the leadership skills will benefit her in every aspect of her life. Sisters connect with each other, and others, through sisterhood events, including cookie shines, sister-led fitness classes, movie nights, and karaoke! Some of our other favorite events incl

“Ada Rigsby is love in human form:,) Whenever I am stressing, I can always count on Ada to get me out of my own head and make me laugh within seconds. She handles everything she does with such grace and is truly a role model to me and anyone who has the privilege of knowing her. I cannot think of anyone else I would wanna do laundry and dishes with.” -Lila

“Nothing beats Lila Datz. I am so grateful to have such a thoughtful and generous friend who shares my sense of humor. There is no one else I would rather eat rocky road ice cream or lick buildings with. Lila always brings so much joy to whoever she’s with, so having her as my roommate and best friend has been one of the best parts of my time at W&M.” -Ada

“Going into college I did not think I would join a sorority, but during orientation I found that most of my hall mates had signed up, so I decided to give it a try. The first day I was overwhelmed, but I found there was one house that left me energized. It was the house on the far left corner of sorority court. My recruitment counselor told me that it was Pi Beta Phi. The next day, I returned to the house and spoke to such kind, funny, and thoughtful people. I soon knew that was where I would end up. One week after bid day, I told my grandfather about the sorority I joined and I was shocked to find out that it was the same one my grandmother was a part of at the University of Massachusetts. I was glad to find a part of home during such a pivotal transition period and I’m thankful to Pi Phi for introducing me to some of my biggest role models and best friends 🤗!” - Caroline
