Just three years ago, resurrecting Doddceum was a fringe idea that brought together a handful of students in the Residential Life Team constantly worrying about whether each dinner would be our last.

Today, Doddceums have become an institutionalized feature of campus life, supported by an endowment from Frank Morgan, the Atwell Professor of Mathematics Emeritus. Without the support of countless offices, faculty, staff, and administrators, none of this would have been possible.

Join our special guests, President Maud Mandel and the Dodd Neighbourhood Custodial Team, as we celebrate the growth of Doddceum. Invite your favorite staff and faculty members! Sign-ups will close Saturday, April 6th at 11:59 PM.

The Residential Life Teams are hosting a Custodial Appreciation Reception in Baxter on Wednesday, February 21st from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

This is a great opportunity to get to know some of our tireless custodians and learn more about each of them as individuals - their families, their favorite memories at Williams, or even the marimbas that they’ve made for Zambezi.

In the hustle and bustle of academics, it can be easy to overlook the tireless work of the College staff who support our experiences on campus. Every day, custodial teams come in at 5:30 AM to ensure that our classrooms and residence halls are ready for us when we wake up. Without their work, our campus would be in constant chaos - restrooms would lack basic necessities, recycling bins would overflow, and the squirrels would reign over the outdoor trash cans.

We’ll be tabling in Paresky from 11:30 AM - 8 PM for community members to sign giant thank you cards for the custodial staff. Please drop by to show your support!
