Surrounded by 140 acres of meadows, forests and mountain vistas, the Clark is one of the world’s most loved and respected art museums. Renowned for its intimate galleries and outstanding collection, it is both an art museum and a center for research and higher education in the visual arts. The Clark's recently transformed campus includes the new Clark Center, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning arc

hitect Tadao Ando; the expanded and renovated Museum Building, reconceived by Selldorf Architects; and a sweeping redesign of its campus by Reed Hilderbrand Landscape Architecture. The Clark library, open to the public with more than 240,000 volumes, is one of the nation’s premier art history libraries. The Institute also houses and co-sponsors the Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art.
