This past week, Vermont State University Professional Pilot Technology program was invited to the State House in Montpelier as a collective statewide effort to highlight the importance of aviation and airports in Vermont. Our students, Director of Aviation Robin Guillian, faculty members, and alumni gathered at the Capital and spoke with legislators about our program. A formal presentation was also delivered by Robin Guillian showcasing our alumni accomplishments. Thank you to Kaden Austin, Luke Herron, Sebastian Lorenz, Cooper Brunet, Jason Sweatt, and Peter Geier for spending your day advocating and representing our program so well! ✈️

This past Sunday was World Pilots' Day and Braedan Tomko, VTSU Student Government President, took VTSU President, David Bergh, for a flight over each of the state college campus' including Williston, Castleton, Randolph, Lyndon, and Johnson. Braedan is a Certified Flight Instructor and gave President Bergh a flight lesson while navigating to each campus. ✈️

Congratulations to Logan Flood, Mya Adams, and Aaron Abrahamson for their 1st, 2nd (tied), and 3rd place photos. Thank you to everyone who voted and participated over the past several weeks! Logan, Mya, and Aarron will receive prizes from our Aviation Club as well as having their photos displayed at our Williston campus.
