September is Healthy Aging Month!

Healthy aging is about more than adding years to your life, it’s about making those years healthy, connected, independent, and fulfilling.

This month, OWAA encourages women to make their health a priority at every stage of life: schedule preventive appointments, stay active, nurture your mental well-being, stay socially connected, and don’t be afraid to ask for support when you need it.

Need help finding services for yourself, a loved one, or a caregiver? Delaware’s Aging & Disability Resource Center can connect you with programs and community resources.

Aging is a journey. You don’t have to navigate it alone.

ABSENTEE VOTING - Need another voting option?

Delaware allows eligible voters to vote by absentee ballot when they meet a reason permitted by state law.

What an inspiring day at The Delaware Commission for Women Retreat.

Under Chair Trisha Moses’s leadership, commissioners came together with honesty, energy, and purpose, aligning on a mission to inform policy and ensure the voices of Delaware women and girls are heard where decisions are made.

The Commission’s priorities for the year will reflect the issues that matter most across our state. The commitment in the room was clear: be present, show up, and tell our story boldly.

OWAA is excited for what’s ahead and proud to support this work.
