This past weekend, several brothers from the Chi Beta Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon made a surprise visit to one of our chapter members who recently graduated from Marine Corps boot camp in Paris Island, SC. Hard times have come to our chapter at the University of Michigan. This great chapter faces charges from their IFC that could kick them off campus. They are accused of associating with off-campus fraternity members, when in reality they are only guilty of upholding the values that has made our fraternity great since 1844. They saw the integrity of a group of wronged sophomores, and their unifying bond to find something greater for themselves and they welcomed them with open arms. Is this what qualifies a chapter to become unrecognized by their respective University? Share this with your friends and/or organizations to raise awareness for the hard times our brothers in Michigan are facing.

Delta Kappa Epsilon-Chi Beta chapter is selling t-shirts to raise money for our philanthropy Soldier's Best Friend which trains service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD. The cost of the shirts are $20 and we will be taking orders through May 3. One year ago today, in DKE-Chi Beta history, we remember the loss of our first fraternity house on Rose Ave. As we stood by the street just after 1:00 AM and watched as the place we called home for two years burn, all we could think about was the physical loss of many of our cherished possessions. However, the memories of all the good times had within our home will never be forgotten. In light of last year’s tragedy, we have gained national chapter status, doubled our membership, and even started a monthly community road sweep. We are proud of how far we have come. Thank you for all the love and support throughout the past four years from our friends and family. ITB

The Chi Beta chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon is pleased to announce that with the combined effort of Delta Zeta and Tau Kappa Epsilon at UNC-Wilmington, we won Greek Week! Overall, with the efforts of all the fraternities and sororities on campus and the community, we were able to raise $4,625.74 for the Hunger Project and donate 3165 lbs of canned goods. Great job everyone!

Today begins the first official day of rush week. If you are interested in greek life, come to Meet the Greeks at 7pm tonight in the Burney Center.
