Congratulations to four Asbury University class of 2026 graduates who are beginning the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Kentucky this fall! 🎉

Asbury alumni make up four of the 60+ students entering UK’s competitive DPT program this year. We’re excited to celebrate this accomplishment and see our graduates continue pursuing their callings in physical therapy and healthcare. 🦅

Holynn Bruner ’26, Madelyn McCall ’26, Naomi Thallman ’26 and Timothy Yashchenko ’26 are taking their Asbury preparation into the next chapter of their calling as future physical therapists.

💜🦅 Meet Micah Krebs '27, a senior Exercise Science/Kinesiology major from Shelbyville, Kentucky! Micah is a member of the Men’s Soccer Team and has served as both an RA and an SLA in Johnson Residence Hall. Read below to hear more about his Asbury experience!

🙏 How has your relationship with God grown in your time at Asbury?
“My relationship with God has grown exponentially since coming to Asbury. The environment and community have really helped me make my faith my own. All the worship events and the intentional focus on God helped me focus on God so much more in my daily life.”

💜 What’s been one of your favorite parts of your time here?
“My favorite part of Asbury so far has been the community and all the campus events that happen. Dorm events like Johnson Christmas, putt putt at Club Trustees, and the ping pong tournament by ASC.”

🦅 What’s one piece of advice you’d give an incoming Asbury student?
“One piece of advice I would give is to not be scared and to go all in on the campus life. Don’t feel like you’re too cool for the events. The friends and memories you will make while doing things that seem silly are what you are going to remember the most.”

💜 What is the heart behind Chapel at Asbury?
Chapel equips us to think well, serve well, and love well as we grow together in our faith and pursue Christ in every area of our lives.

Even the symbols throughout Hughes Auditorium serve as constant reminders of these values and the purpose behind gathering together as a campus community three times each week. 🙌

From worship and prayer to Scripture and teaching, every Chapel is another opportunity to be formed, challenged, and drawn closer to Christ.

Pastor Steve DeNeff joined us in Chapel this week for our Fall Revival series, bringing powerful messages and impactful reminders for our campus community.

We need God, and He becomes our strength in the areas where we are weak. He calls us to be leaders, but we must be willing to say yes and rely on Him.
We don’t need to worry about our ability, just our availability.
God uses available people. 🙌
