Asbury University Theatre Asbury University's Theatre program prepares performers and designers for a career in theatre, film, We produce 7 live shows a year.

The Asbury Theatre Program teaches performers the craft of acting for both stage and film. If you are a designer, we teach you the principles of design and then train you in lighting, sound, stagecraft, costuming, and stage management. We regularly take students to study acting at the Globe Theatre in London, to Second City in Chicago to study Improv, and to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotla

nd to perform. For designers we have a relationship with Pinewood Studios in London where students can train in everything from creating miniatures to prop building to special effects lighting. Our philosophy is to train you and then allow you the freedom to create and explore. We have alumni who have gone on to study at Yale Drama School, the Shakespeare Institute's at Stratford-upon-Avon, and the Eugene O'Neill National Theatre Institute. And you have the opportunity to be in over 60 student films each semester.
