Community Volunteers Needed – Cowley College Paramedic Program

Cowley College’s Paramedic Program is seeking community volunteers to serve as Standardized Patients for student training exercises at our Wellington simulation lab.

Standardized patients assist students by portraying patients during simulated clinical scenarios. No medical background is required. Volunteers will receive clear instructions for each scenario and support from faculty throughout the experience.

Participation helps ensure paramedic students receive realistic, hands‑on training and are well-prepared to serve our community upon graduation.

Volunteer Information:

Open to adult community members
Time commitments vary by scenario
Specific dates, times, and expectations will be provided in advance
