At Wingate, we want our students to graduate with prospects and purpose so they can make a difference in their communities and beyond. With just over 3,400 students on three campuses, Wingate’s size

is ideal for strengthening leadership, intellectual activity and personal growth. Our main campus is beautiful and easy to navigate, which makes for great outdoor study groups and less getting lost. With a 16-to-1 student/teacher ratio, our faculty go out of their way to make sure that students succeed. Wingate University has built a reputation as a premier academic institution, with over a century of experience. This has prepared us to cultivate in our students the tenets of faith, knowledge and service. The University offers 37 undergraduate majors, 40 minors, four doctoral programs, and other career concentrations, preprofessional programs and graduate degrees. In addition to a robust intramural athletics program, Wingate student-athletes compete in 25 NCAA Division II sports, and Wingate has won the South Atlantic Conference Echols Athletic Excellence Award the past 13 times it has been awarded.
