Hangul Day — also called Hangul Proclamation Day or Korean Alphabet Day — is a Korean national commemorative day marking the invention and the proclamation of hangul (한글), the native alphabet of the Korean language, by King Sejong the Great. It is observed on October 9 in South Korea

Hangul is a true alphabet of 24 consonant and vowel letters.
Hangul was promulgated by Sejong the Great, the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty. The Hall of Worthies is often credited for the work. The project was completed in late December 1443 or January 1444, and described in 1446 in a document titled Hunmin Jeongeum. In explaining the need for the new script, King Sejong explained that the Korean language was fundamentally different from Chinese; using Chinese characters (known as hanja) to write was so difficult for the common people that only privileged aristocrats, usually male, could read and write fluently. The majority of Koreans were effectively illiterate before the invention of Hangul. Hangul was designed so that even a commoner could learn to read and write; the Haerye says "A wise man can acquaint himself with them before the morning is over; a stupid man can learn them in the space of ten days."

The number of recommendations are more than other music videos’ like LMFAO’s ‘Party Rock Anthem’, Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’, and Adele’s ‘Roll in the deep’. Therefore, it is in the Guinness Book of Records as the most recommended music video.

How Kangnam Style made Britney Spears dance?

First, PSY has his own rhythm and the sense of humor.
Second, people enjoy the horse dance move in the song. It looks easy to follow, but it isn’t. People need to learn some moving skills. It is similar with Macarena dance move which was popular all around world.
Third, young and old like the song and the dance move.
Fourth, PSY sang Kangnam Style in Korean, so listeners can interpret the song by themselves. There are so many parody music videos. They made the song more popular.

At the end of this month, South Korea will have Chuseok. It is one of the big holidays here. It is similar with Thanksgiving day in the United States. Family members go to their grand parents' house and have a special meal together. I will let you know many delicious foods next time. Seeya !

PSY released new album. He sings "Kangnam Style" Kangnam Style means that someone lives in main city in South Korea like Chicago. People who live Kangnam want to find happy.
It is so popular. There are Daegu Style and Hongdae Style.
