Jennifer Anderson, Professor of Geoscience, talked to the NY Times about a new paper in Nature (by a different group of scientists) that deals with oblique-impact ejecta kinematics on the Moon!

Scientists proposed an explanation for the formation of Vallis Schrödinger and Vallis Planck near the lunar south pole, which are each about the size of Earth’s Grand Canyon.
