Today, we reflect with gratitude on their courage, dedication, and selflessness. We also extend our appreciation to all veterans, active-duty service members, and military families within the Warrior community and beyond.

⚾ Sunday, June 14 – WSU Day at Target Field
Cheer on the Minnesota Twins as they host the St. Louis Cardinals at 1:10 p.m. during special “WSU Day” festivities.

What a great day at Loughrey Field! ⚾️
We loved welcoming over 40 WSU baseball alumni back to Winona for Alumni Weekend—such an incredible turnout of former players, current Warriors, and fans. A special highlight was celebrating the 15-year anniversary of our 2011 national team!
Shoutout to alumni Kyle Poock and 2026 WSU Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Brad Lange for throwing out the first pitches 👏
And to top it all off—the Warriors brought home a big win with a final score of 27-8! 🔥

Alumni story time!!

I’m Emily, Winona State University Class of 2010—and yes, I still get together with my Winona friends 😊

This year marks nearly 20 years since we met freshman fall 2006, and we’re still close. Our friendships were built through everything from Sugar Loaf hikes, "Friendsgivings", and cafeteria trips, to group sports, winter formals, and countless shared memories. Even as some of us graduated at different times, transferred, or moved out of state, the friendships never faded.

We’ve truly grown up together—buying first homes, celebrating marriages, welcoming babies, and navigating life together. Our core group now includes 14 couples (mostly Winona grads), 27 kids, and plenty of fur babies. We still gather for traditions like an annual chili cook off, cabin weekends, Boundary Waters trips, pizza nights, and more—and now we’re somehow planning our 40th birthdays.

Choosing Winona State was the best decision I ever made. These people aren’t just friends; they’re my lifelong family.
