It’s official! WSU Political Science received a $1.1m grant from the US Department of Defense to create the WSU Civic Center! We will promote civil discourse and ethical leadership in SE MN by providing workshops, hosting civic dialogues, and giving our students real world public service experience. We are grateful and humbled to have received the support of both of our US Senators, Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith, as well as so many local hardworking public servants. We are looking forward to our partnership with SE MN Together. Let’s do great things for our community!

Today, State Chair, Kaileigh Weber, testified in front of the Higher Education Conference Committee. Thank you to Representative Gene Pelowski and Senator Omar Fateh for crafting a bill that will make higher education more affordable and accessible for all Minnesotans!
