Manuel Library at Carolina University The Academic Library of Carolina University. The current facility of the George M. Manuel Library was built in 1970. While on staff, Mr. George M. Mr.

It is named for a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ who began his affiliation with the school as a student and later worked as staff. Manuel served in many capacities, Registrar, Professor, Coach, and eventually the first full-time Librarian. Manuel was called home to glory at a young age, but not before making a great impact for the cause of Christ at Piedmont, which was continued on afte

r his passing by his wife, Doris. We are privileged to memorialize his life, ministry, and testimony to the glory of the Lord here at the Library. With Piedmont International University’s merger with Spurgeon Baptist Bible College in 2004, Atlantic Baptist Bible College in 2008, and Tennessee Temple University in 2015, certain holdings of the Oluf and Lois Jensen Library, E. Wayne Thompson Library, and Cierpke Memorial Library were incorporated.

Join us on January 10 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. for a fun and engaging literacy event for elementary-aged children!

Enjoy story time with a great-read-aloud, a hands-on activity, a special visit from our mascot, and a free book for each child. This event highlights our community partnership with students creating a meaningful learning experience for all.

Parents and grandparents - our coffee shop will be open during the event!

Hey Bruins! Great work this semester! If you need a quiet space to prepare for and take finals, this week the library will remain open Monday-Wednesday, and we will be closed Thursday-Friday to observe Thanksgiving. We will be back open for normal hours Saturday-Sunday!
