On Thursday, May 14, faculty, staff, graduates, and their families gathered in Sutton Center for the Wake Forest Law Student Awards Ceremony.

The following graduates were recognized: Leadership & Character in Law Scholars, Honor Council Members, Student Organization Leaders, Student Bar Association Leaders, Wake Forest Law Ambassadors, Academic Journals Members, and Advocacy Team Members.

Graduates were also inducted into the Order of the Barristers and the Order of the Coif.

Awards were given for the NCAJ Trial Bar Leadership Award, NCAJ Trial Team Award, Robert Goldberg Award in Trial Advocacy, Pro Bono Honor Society, Excellence in Pro Bono Publico Award, NC State Bar's Pro Bono Student Award, Smith Anderson Pro Bono Award for Exceptional Service, Dean Suzanne Reynolds Award, Kay Hagan Award, Legal Research Award, Outstanding Research Assistant Award, Jurist Excellence in Teaching Award, Jurist Staff Excellence Award, Andy B. Krafsur Award, E. McGruder Faris Memorial Award, Laura J. Gendy Award, Miriam E. Felsenburg Award, Old Gold Award for Indomitable Spirit, and the Dean's Award.

Brooke Blair (JD/MBA '26) gave remarks to the Class of 2026 on behalf of the SBA. Closing remarks were made by Dean Andrew Klein.

Wake Forest Law SJD student Siwei Wang presented at the National SJD Roundtable on April 24, 2026, hosted by American University Washington College of Law.

The Roundtable brought together doctoral candidates and scholars from across the United States and beyond for a day of academic exchange, collaboration, and community building. Siwei presented her research, titled “From Data Protection to Data Concentration: The Governance Paradox in the GenAI Era,” joining 36 SJD/JSD presenters representing leading law schools nationwide.
