What a fantastic first week for our Early Childhood Education teacher candidates and the Early Birds Initiative!
Our teacher candidates demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to building relationships with young learners and their school community. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented Polk State College and embraced this opportunity to learn and serve.
We are excited for another week in the field and can't wait to see the positive impact this initiative will have on children, families, schools, and our community.

Today, we officially launched our Early Birds Initiative with Polk County Public Schools! Our Early Childhood Education (ECE) teacher candidates participated in district training focused on Schoology resources, mandatory reporting protocols, and Language for Learning.
