Head to the Wisconsin Rapids Elks Club 693 on May 21, 2026, from 6:00–7:00 p.m. as Mayor Matt Zacher officially proclaims the City of Wisconsin Rapids a Purple Heart City. The ceremony and meet-and-greet will honor local veterans who have courageously earned the Purple Heart Medal for their service and sacrifice to our nation.
