Hey guys, this is actually Angie. I wanted to let everyone know that I will no longer be advising, or at the College. Most of the current members knew this might happen, but there were a lot of people I wanted to let know as we've been doing this a decade as of this year. I am just sending this message to both groups. If you should need me, contact me over FB or some other way that you know. I want all of you guys in both groups to know that being your advisor has been one of the most satisfying things I have done in Wise. COVID made things weird, and the group not as close, but I consider you all family. I always joke that both clubs basically raised Owen. I was trying to make sure the new advisors had access to all of our photos, and that is no joke. Pictures of club members teaching him to tie his shoes the way right handed folk do it, how to build fires, thinking of him talking to people on the phone when he didn't want to talk to Matt or I. You guys really have raised an upstanding kid. I will miss the parties at my house or near the lake 4 or more times a year. I will miss the crazy ideas you guys have, and the not so crazy ones. I will miss helping you out of whatever jam (or more serious issue) you've gotten into, as well as celebrating your successes. Really, I only hope that I have helped you kids half as much as you have me over the last decade. You all mean the world to me, and I love seeing your continuing success. I can't say much more without getting teary, and everyone knows how I feel about showing emotion,. I love all you guys. From back in 2013-14 until now. Stay safe, and let me know if you need anything at all.
This group had it a little tougher than most, as we had to create it. Evon, I still remember that first awkward time you showed up at my door. It is hard to stay running when there aren't many of you, and our group size has waxed and waned, but try to hang in there. Love you all.
