Charis Bible College Fall 2026 Enrollment is Open! Apply Now! charisbiblecollege.org Every successful minister goes through school. However, I don’t recommend it!

It’s just a matter of whether it’s in a formal educational setting with experienced instructors ready to help, or an informal one through the “school of hard knocks," alone. I took the latter route, and I must say, if you survive, it makes a great testimony. The Lord led me to start Charis Bible College for the purpose of training people for the work of the ministry. He wanted me to take a unique approach; it had to be a combination of the rich teaching of God’s Word and practical, hands-on ministry experience. This was modeled in the Old Testament by Elijah and Elisha with the school of the prophets and in the New Testament when Paul told Timothy to train faithful men to teach others. With this combination, I knew our graduates would be able to avoid many of the problems and hardships I encountered; they would be well prepared. Whatever God is leading you to do, preparation is never a waste of time. Statistics show that 80% of ministers drop out of the ministry, and 80% of those who stay are on the verge of burnout. I believe the lack of preparation, spiritually, academically, and practically are at the root of these statistics. Charis Bible College instructors have accumulated decades of experience in ministry, and their experience may very well keep you from becoming a statistic. Two years of preparation is a small price to pay for a lifetime of successful ministry. If the Lord is speaking to you about attending CBC, visit our website and request a catalog. It will help you in your decision. If you choose to attend, I guarantee you it will change your life and the lives of those around you forever. ANDREW WOMMACK - President & Founder

Some days it’s easy to forget who God says you are.

The world will try to define you by your past, your mistakes, or what you see in the mirror. But that’s not your identity. In Christ, you are chosen, called, and carrying His authority everywhere you go. 👑

You weren’t saved just to survive. You were sent to make a difference.

Say it out loud. Say it again tomorrow. Keep declaring it until you believe it more than anything else you’ve been told.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood…” 1 Peter 2:9

Walking in the Spirit isn’t about striving to feel spiritual enough. It’s about living from your relationship with Jesus and your identity in Him. Your feelings may change, but His Spirit remains in you.

Rest in the relationship, not the performance.

Maybe you’ve prayed the same prayer for years.
Maybe you’ve believed, and waited, and wondered why nothing seems to change.

And somewhere along the way, you started to think the problem was you. That you just didn’t have enough faith.

But what if it was never about having more faith? What if it’s the quiet doubts, the disappointments you’ve carried, the “what ifs” that slowly crept in?

“Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” Mark 9:24 🤍

Being tight with money usually isn’t humility. Most of the time it’s worry about running out, and worry is what makes people hold on so hard. But the Lord is the one providing here, so it was never all resting on you to begin with. Where could you loosen your grip a little?

Just because you can’t see the change yet doesn’t mean nothing happened. Faith doesn’t depend on what you can see in the moment. What God has spoken is true, even before the evidence appears.

Scripture warns about hurry more than most people realize, and that’s because rushing has always been tempting. Fast feels like progress. The trouble is that the quick version usually skips your preparation. Preparation is never a waste of time. What’s something you’re tempted to rush right now?

Sometimes, it’s only when we come to the end of ourselves that we learn to fully trust God. When we stop depending on our own ability and yield to Him, we make room for His supernatural power to work through us.

"But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;"
1 Corinthians 1:27

God never made wisdom hard to get to. You don't have to find the right person first, or read the right book, or earn your way into it. He gives it freely to anybody who asks Him for it, and that's how it has worked the whole time. What's a decision you could use some wisdom on right now?

Jesus perfectly reveals the Father. If you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus. He never put sickness on people or told them they hadn’t done enough to be healed. Jesus consistently healed the sick and demonstrated the Father’s heart toward us.
