🎉Congratulations to John Klofas '77🎉 2026 Sanctae Crucis Distinguished Professional Achievement Award Winner!
Throughout his personal and professional life, John has been guided by three powerful core values: community, justice, and commitment to analysis. At the local level, John has worked tirelessly in his city of Rochester, NY to reduce community violence and tackle the opioid epidemic. On the national stage he has served as a key team member for a multi-year, nationwide anti-violence project under the U.S. Department of Justice. At the Rochester Institute of Technology, John founded the Center for Public Safety Initiatives (CPSI). He considers this student-centered center a major achievement, especially proud that many of its alumni have gone on to pursue doctoral programs.
