As we celebrate the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, we reflect on the enduring values and mission that continue to guide our community everyday.

During Reunion weekend, "The Jesuits Today and Tomorrow: An Intergenerational Perspective" panel brought together four generations of Jesuit experience for a conversation about how Jesuit values and leadership continue to shape the Society of Jesus in a changing academic and cultural landscape. Moderated by Suzanne Geaney ’76, former Director of the Ignatian Volunteer Corps, the panel featured Rev. Joseph O’Keefe, S.J. ’76, Provincial of the USA East Province of the Society of Jesus; Rev. Timothy O’Brien, S.J. ’06, former Associate Vice President for Mission at Holy Cross; Rev. Brent Otto, S.J. ’01, Holy Cross faculty member; and Jack Rosenwinkel ’21, Jesuit novice.

Today and everyday, we honor St. Ignatius and the legacy of discernment, service and faith that continues to inspire our community.

For Richard Carr ’89, the Pan-Mass Challenge is deeply personal. And for David Fisher M.D. ’83, the fight against cancer is at the heart of his work. 💜

At 26 years old, Richard began experiencing symptoms that led to a life-changing diagnosis. Today, he’s a two-time cancer survivor and preparing for his 20th Pan-Mass Challenge ride.

Dr. Fisher, who works at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute treating lymphoma, has dedicated his career treating patients. This year, he’ll take on his 24th Pan-Mass Challenge.
