“Every year I’m told by multiple people on campus that the Senior Exhibition is their “favorite,” the one they look forward to the most. It speaks to the connectivity and support of the Holy Cross community, and it means a lot for fellow students, faculty and staff to cheer on the accomplishments of our student artists while recognizing their vibrant perspectives on contemporary life.

The nine seniors in this year’s student exhibition have collectively demonstrated thoughtful perspectives on the aesthetic, social, and cultural issues that affect us all. They mine personal experience to reveal universal truths, honor and revise historical tradition, and above all, remain committed to their craft. The nine artists of A P A R T present a visual experience for the viewer that will encourage reflection, dialogue, laughter, and connection.”

Flashback with Christine Sun Kim!

We were honored to welcome to campus last month for class visits and her powerful Deaf Death lecture-performance, where she shared insights on sound, language, and access through her artistic practice.

Her visit sparked thoughtful conversations across campus and offered an unforgettable experience for students and faculty alike. “How a thought becomes an obsession when the mind keeps touching it” - CSK

If you haven’t yet, stop by the gallery to see her mural Mind, Touch, Touch, Touch in person!
