Omega Beta Omega Chapter Serving Yazoo and Humphreys Counties, MS. This administration has six initiatives.

Omega Beta Omega Chapter serves the Yazoo County and its surrounding communities by utilizing the targets of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority International Programs to perpetuate the motto of Alpha Kappa Alpha, "service to all mankind. Strengthen Our Sisterhood will serve as the administration's "Foundation Initiative" as we strengthen our bonds to support our service mission. The remaining five ini

tiatives will serve as the "Program Initiatives" which include:

Empower Our Families
Build Our Economic Wealth
Enhance Our Environment
Advocate for Social Justice
Uplift Our Local Community

These initiatives are designed to improve the lives of those we serve. We will work collaboratively to maximize our outreach on progressive endeavors and consistently produce leaders who will advance our credo of service.

Our commitment to Enhance Our Environment continues in the Yazoo and Humphreys County communities!

Our sisters and visitors rolled up their sleeves and took to the highway to help keep our communities clean and beautiful.

Yazoo County: 8 volunteers collected 8 bags of litter

Humphreys County: 3 volunteers collected 3 bags of litter

That’s 11 volunteers and 11 bags collected! 👏🏾💗💚

Every bag collected represents our continued commitment to serving and making a positive impact in the communities we call home.

AKA Family Matters represents more than a program target. It reflects a commitment to caring for others, strengthening families, advocating for those who need support, and using our individual gifts and experiences to help our communities thrive.

From supporting families and caregivers to serving Veterans, mentoring others, connecting people with resources, and simply recognizing a need and choosing to respond there are many ways to champion service.

We are highlighting what inspires our members to Champion Service, Empower Sisterhood, and Transform the World.

Today, we spotlight two of our AKA Champions whose hearts for service connect deeply with our Signature Program, AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope.
