Big news from Global Initiatives!

We are thrilled to announce that Brian Schultz, Professor and Virginia Todd Memorial Scholar of Curriculum Studies in the Miami University College of Education, Health and Society, is the 10th recipient of the John E. Dolibois Faculty Award for Innovation in Global Programming!

As Director of the Pura Vida: Education, Community, and Innovation program, Brian has spent the last three years leading transformative winter term experiences abroad. Dean Amity Noltemeyer, who nominated Brian for the honor, praised the program's inclusive design:

The program "enables students across the university to engage in education-, community-, and innovation-based inquiry in an international context."

Please join us in celebrating Brian’s dedication to global learning and congratulating all of this year’s distinguished nominees!
