What a fantastic day to explore York!

Twenty-two walkers set out on a beautiful journey along the Rail Trail, traveling from Grantley Road to King Street before making our way to Royal Square. Along the route, we were joined by Tom Gibson, York’s self-proclaimed “Town Crier,” who brought the city’s rich history to life.

Our adventure concluded at Mural Park, followed by a delicious lunch at Collusion.

The day was filled with great conversation, new friendships, and a deeper appreciation for the history, culture, and hidden gems of Downtown York, PA!

Join fellow LLI members for a special walk-through of "Cuero," a stunning exhibition by artist Gabriel Sanchez Carpio!

"Cuero" features a series of paintings exploring Caribbean cultural syncretism, blending a pictorial narrative style that creates a beautiful tension between the everyday and the mystical.

Personal Insights: Gabriel will personally guide you through the exhibit, sharing the stories, inspiration, and creative process behind his artwork.

Celebrate Our Fellow: Gabriel is York College's 2025-26 Appell Arts Fellow. This exhibition is the grand culmination of his 11-month residency.

A Fond Farewell: This is a fantastic opportunity to wish Gabriel well before he heads off to Columbia University to pursue his MFA in Painting!
