The Spartan is a campus newspaper devoted to informing, entertaining, and providing a public forum for all members of the York College community. The Executive Board of The Spartan is fully responsible for the content within, so submitted material may be edited for pertinence, length, libel, and clarity. The opinions published do not necessarily reflect those of the executive board, the general st

The office is located on the upper level of the Student Union. The Spartan was established as a source of information, a student forum and as an opportunity to provide students with experience in journalism, advertising and business management. The newspaper has multiple features including organizational news, entertainment, sports, editorials and college news. It is a successful and professional newspaper that informs as well as entertains.
