The Reading and Study Skills Center at Youngstown State University is hiring a pool of Peer Tutors for 2015-16 academic year.

APPLICANTS MUST:
• be at least a sophomore with a 3.0 or higher g.p.a.
• have excellent communication skills
• enjoy working in small groups
• complete paid mandatory training late Summer and between Summer and Fall semesters which will consist of individual online assignments as well as on campus sessions.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: April 30, 2014.
Applications available to be picked up in the R&SS Center (154 Maag)

Two-part group interviews are currently being scheduled on the following dates: Tuesday, April 16, 2015 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7th, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and Friday May 8th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p. m.

*Applicants are expected to attend the entire 2 hour group interview.

I attended the wrap up meeting for Relay for Life and we discussed the pros and cons of the event. I was able to turn in our last donation at the meeting. Their are some discussions of possibly moving the event to another location due to the lack of electricity and the in ability to sell food if you have any ideas please let me know so i can forward the to the committee for next year. The baseball ticket fundraiser is still going on if you purchase tickets and say United Purpose II $8.00 of every ticket sale will come to our team. Sorry for posting so late if you want more info let me know.

United Purpose II was voted one of the loudest teams during the team lap way to go team United Purpose II. Matthew Miner was also our top fundraiser with all those 50/50 ticket sales and just regular donations Awesome job Mat.

JUST A REMINDER: Hey, heres the scoop set up is from 3-6 opening ceremony is at 6pm everyone is to be their by 5 pm or when the set up starts and I (Tina) have more 50/50 tickets to sell we need to also get decorations for our site the face paint if we are still doing that. We also need to know if we are having snacks for sale at our site and if we are giving the survivors a free treat/snack. I'm reporting this to make sure everyone knows what time to be there. We are up stairs in the corner right next to Maggi's (Family Circle of Love) team I believe it is the top right corner.
