Sigma Tau Gamma-YSU Sigma Tau Gamma is a national college fraternity founded in 1920 by veterans of the First World War. The pursuit of these three highest ideals is a journey.

The purpose of Sigma Tau Gamma is to promote the highest ideals of manhood, brotherhood, and citizenship according to the Principles of our Fraternity. Each day we travel further along the path of what it means to be a better man, better brother, and better citizen. For this reason, joining Sigma Tau Gamma is not similar to joining a club. It is a lifetime commitment not made alone, but made by, w

ith and to brothers. This mutual commitment strengthens each of us. Sigma Tau Gamma is not a place where you lose personal identity. It is a place where you find it. Your interaction with fellow brothers, who mutually care for each other, will test your ideas and help you formulate convictions that sustain a truly principled adult life. The Fraternity is a place to belong. Belong to be a leader, a scholar, to serve, to care, to excel, to share, and to be respected.

Last week brother Cook, brother Tucker, and brother Perrico finished out their term serving as Student Government exec. We are incredibly proud of all the work you all have done to better our campus and truly make a difference for the student body. Brother Velez has also finished his term as WCBA representative and academic senator.

Last week brother Perrico received two awards from the YSU board of trustees for his dedication and contributions to helping the student body while being part of the board. POLAR PLUNGE 2026🐻‍❄️

Thank you so much for everyone that donated and supported our philanthropy.

We were once again the top team that raised the most money towards the Special Olympics and we couldn’t without everyone’s support ‼️ over $30,000 was raised and we contributed around $3,000 of that.

2026 Webb Academy🗡️🗡️

This past weekend three of our executive board members attended in-person Webb Academy in Indianapolis. Brother Velez in the Chapter President track, Brother Law in the Recruitment track, and brother Bonar in the Finance track.They learned more about how to perform their duties as executive board members in chapter.

We owe a huge THANK YOU to the many people that put on this yearly event, in-person AND online, so that our chapter executive board continues to improve year by year.
