Westmoreland County Community College More than 100 academic programs, 8 locations, affordable tuition and small class sizes! Classes are conducted weekdays, evenings and Saturdays.

Enrollment:
Approximately 3,000 full- and part-time students who range in age from 17 to 75

Programs:
Associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs with options that prepare students for careers or transfer to baccalaureate degree programs at four-year institutions. Campus:

To provide access to quality educational opportunities to area residents, the college operates off-campus education centers in New Kensington, Murrysville, Indiana, Latrobe and Uniontown - that serve all of Westmoreland, Fayette and Indiana counties. The Public Safety Training Center, located near Smithton, provides public safety training for fire, police and emergency services responders. The Advanced Technology Center is designed to create the future of advanced manufacturing in our region. Academic Calendar:
Two 15-week semesters (fall, spring); two 10-week sessions (fall and spring), and 5 1/2 - 8 - and 11-week summer sessions.

RISE is an inclusive program designed to help individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities complete college courses and prepare for sustainable employment. RISE students are fully included with the campus community through classes, academic support, and student life involvement.

🎉 Congratulations to our Center Student of the Month for September! Jason Pigan is a Health Science major at our Murrysville Center who plans to pursue a career in medical imaging, either radiology or nuclear medicine. After his own experience with cancer, he hopes to help others through a career in imaging, just as medical professionals helped him.

Jason is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and works at Forbes Hospital as a Transport Monitor Technician.
